President M. Scribner Inc. and Owner Scribshealthhut.com

Mike Scribner was brought up in Midland, Michigan where he played high school hockey, soccer, basketball, football, and baseball. He chose to accept
a full soccer scholarship to Delta Community College where he was the team captain. After completing his playing days, he became the assistant coach
of the Delta College men’s soccer team for 2 years. With a desire to do more than coach soccer Mike moved to Wonder Lake, Illinois and enrolled at
McHenry Community College in the F.I.T program for 1 year. He then got his ACSM (American Council of Sports Medicine) nationally accredited
certification as a personal trainer as well as a nationally accredited coaching certification through ASEP (American Sport Education Program). He has
been training athletes of all ages and abilities for 4 years now. Mike has now found his true passion, coaching hockey players both on and off the ice.

Coach Mike has also become one of the premier on ice skating instructional and skill development coaches in Illinois. Adopting the very successful
Sumo System of Skating Perfection, Coach Mike has worked with a wide range of players from beginner level to professional.

Hoffman Estates Hockey Director Randy Jordan says, “Mike has embraced the need for players to master the key skating components before they can
fully enjoy all aspects of the game. I have seen first hand the mind boggling success determined players have enjoyed when they combined Mike’s off
ice knowledge with skating technique expertise. There is no better training combination anywhere for a player that wants to work hard and excel. I
challenge anyone to keep up with his personal training regime”

One of Mike’s greatest accomplishments happened last year when he decided to train and play pro hockey himself. He ended up playing single A minor
pro hockey for the Danville Pounders. Mike says, “Through hard work, discipline, passion and heart. Anything is possible!”
